For customized stoles, we urge that orders are placed at least three weeks in advance of when the stoles will be used. For even larger orders of 50+ stoles, we advise that orders are placed at least a month or two in advance of when they’re needed.
Please contact contact@houseofstole.com. We can only cancel orders that have not yet been processed.
Sorry, we do not offer returns/exchanges as customized stoles are non-resellable.
House of Stole is not responsible for duties and taxes collected at time of delivery.
We will contact you and refund you the full price of the item and refund your card/PayPal account for the value of the the item within 5-7 business days.
A product woven by hand can never match a digital mockup exactly. Furthermore, due to monitor settings, monitor pixel definitions, limitations of desktop scanners, digital photography, and thread lot variations, we cannot guarantee that the color you see on your screen as an exact color of the product. We strive to make our colors as accurate as possible, but screen images are intended as a guide only and should not be regarded as absolutely correct. All colors are approximations of actual colors. For best results, view this page with your color depth set to 16-bit (thousands of colors) or higher.
Email contact@houseofstole.com immediately. In many cases we may be able to change the address for you if your order hasn't already been processed.
If DHL has any trouble delivering the stoles to you, we will help get you the phone number of their nearest delivery facility, so you can speak with them directly and perhaps provide an updated address or direct them to your location.
Sometimes updating your address may result in an upcharge. House of Stole is not responsible for paying this upcharge. To avoid the upcharge, ask the carrier to hold the shipment at the nearest location for you to pick up.
House of Stole is not responsible for lost or stolen shipments. You will be responsible for filing a claim with the carrier (DHL). Once your claim has been filed, please contact us directly at contact@houseofstole.com with information regarding your situation and your claim number; even though it's not our responsibility, we're happy to offer limited assistance with engaging the courier company.
With advanced firewall and encryption technology, our secure servers protect your information throughout the ordering process. Most browsers will show a lock icon in the top status bar on secure pages. Look for this icon on any web page that asks for your personal information. To further ensure your security, we use state of the art SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption to protect your personal information from unauthorized use. View the privacy policy. We are headquartered in Tema, Ghana, West Africa, although we have a limited presence in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
For customized stoles, there is an international shipping fee of $32.95 for orders of fewer that five stoles -- shipping is free for orders of five or more stoles.
There is no limit on the number of symbols you can choose. However, after adding five items (symbols or text) there’s a $2.95 charge per extra item added.
